Things to Avoid when buying the Garmin Golflogix Part2
Apart from that, before you buy Garmin Golflogix GPS-8, you must understand that it is a utility device and is very powerful and precise performance wise. But, if you are someone who is looking forward to buying a GPS tracker device to show off on the golf course, it is definitely not the one. In fact SkyCaddie’s latest SG5 model is the one with those striking looks that you would like to flaunt in front of your friends.
Most of the GPS tracking devices available in the market comply with the USGA norms and therefore show only the distance and the hazards and lay ups on the course. They give no indication of wind speed, Relative Humidity etc on the course. So, be sure of the specs before you buy any of the GPS tracking devices for golf purposes.
Most of the GPS tracking devices are quite delicate and a couple of falls on the course are enough to put their lives to an end. While buying a GPS system make sure that it is rugged and it does not betray you on the course if it falls accidentally, thankfully the golflogix is quite robust and as I found out a couple of times, it will withstand a a couple of drops on both hard fairways and mud also.
